This week in Highlanders in the News: Bidding farewell to Radford Highlanders men’s basketball star Cameron “Cam” Jones ’16; Chakita Patterson, M.S.W. ’15, walks the walk and talks the talk in Nashville, Tennessee; and Egan Green, Ph.D., chair of Radford’s Department of Criminal Justice, provides insight for a community more than 2,000 miles to the west. 

Associate Dean Angela Stanton, Ph.D., called the accreditation renewal, "an external stamp of approval that demonstrates we offer a high-quality business education that provides our students with the necessary foundation for success for their future careers."

While recovering from a bout with spinal stenosis, voice Professor Denise Bernardini found extra notes to sing, plus ample material for her new self-help book.

The Radford University Board of Visitors heard from university deans about their plans to better utilize faculty throughout their colleges to optimize student engagement, recruitment and retention at a special meeting on Jan. 25, 2023.

In recognition of their distinguished academic reputations, Radford University’s Office of the Provost has awarded three faculty members the university’s highest honor.
