Each year, the College of Visual and Performing Arts carefully selects world-class professional individuals or companies to perform for the campus and surrounding communities. We are proud to present the following world renowned performers at Radford University.

Tuesday, April 9, 2024: The Queen's Cartoonists

It's an audio-visual treat when The Queen's Cartoonists come to Radford to play live scores to classic cartoons. Projecting selections from more than 100 years of cartoons from around the world, the Queen's Cartoonists play the original scores live or mix it up with their own jazz and classical inspired compositions. As they explain on their website, "The Queen’s Cartoonists bring animated films to life, perfectly synchronizing their performances with the films projected on stage. The band matches the energy of the cartoons, leading the audience through a world of virtuosic musicianship, multi-instrumental mayhem, and comedy."
