Moscow Festival Ballet
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 8pm
Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall
The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in the great traditions of the Bolshoi and Kirov ballet companies. Under the artistic direction of Sergei Radchenko the company has performed the major, full-length classical works as well as contemporary repertoire throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. Their Radford University presentation of “Giselle,” music composed by Adolphe Adam and choreographed by the legendary Marius Petipa, is a tragic story of love and deception, all transcended by death. The production promises to be a musical and visual gift for the audience!
