Wednesday, March 29

2:30 - 5:00 Conference Pre-session - Program Evaluation  - Dr. Tonya Moon, University of Virginia
                     Participants will learn basic models of program evaluation and gain practical information on                      conducting program evaluations in classrooms, schools, and districts.  Participants need not have                      prior experience with designing program evaluations.

6:00 -7:30  Early Bird registration and informal reception

Thursday, March 30

9:00 - 10:30  Opening Session - Invited Speaker

12:00 - 1:30 Luncheon  Speaker - Dr. Larnie Cross, Professor, Educational Research, Virginia Tech

Thursday sessions will feature topics focusing on improvement of student achievement through innovative techniques as well as reform issues.

The day will end with a reception sponsored by CTB


Friday, March 31

The day will begin with the annual Business Meeting, where officers for 2000-2001 will be elected and Research award winners will be announced.

Concurrent sessions will address issues of school climate and student counseling.   The conference will end with a conference wrap-up featuring speakers from Virginia Commonwealth University.
