Blue Jay Point County Park (Map)
From Richmond take I-95:
I-95 to I-85 S
Take exit 218 onto rt. 1 south.
Follow rt. 1 for 25-30 miles.
Go right on Rt. 98 west. go west on rt. 98 for about 8 miles.
Take a left on Six Forks Rd.. Go about 1 1/2 miles and
Go left on Pleasant Union Church Rd and
Go straight into Blue Jay Point County Park.
The only tricky part is Pleasant Union Church Road which is a small road. If you get to a dead end on six Forks where you have to make a right or left at the Volunteer Fire Dept and water tower you have gone about 2 miles past Pleasant Union.
From Greensboro take I-40 East to I-85 North outside of Durham
Take exit 178 Rt. onto 70 East
Turn left onto Rt. 98 East (Wake Forest Rd.).
Follow 98 East for 10-12 miles
Turn right on Six Forks Rd.. Go about 1 1/2 miles and
Turn left on Pleasant Union Church Rd and
Go straight into Blue Jay Point County Park.
