IT IS AGREED TO HOLD RADFORD UNIVERSITY AND ITS AGENTS HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFIES THEM FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY OR INJURY TO PERSONS ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED WITH THIS EVENT. BY SIGNING THIS FORM, YOU OR THE SPONSORING ORGANIZATION, WHERE APPLICABLE, ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTAINING APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR DURING THE EVENT; APPROPRIATE CLEAN-UP OF FACILITY FOLLOWING THE EVENT AND FOR COMPLIANCE WITH RADFORD UNIVERSITY POLICIES AND THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT MAY RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF EVENT AND/OR CHARGES BEING BROUGHT AGAINST YOU AND/OR THE SPONSORING ORGANIZATION, WHERE APPLICABLE.

LIABILITY INSURANCE: User agrees to provide Commercial General liability insurance in which user is named as insured in the amount of $1,000,000 covering bodily injury, including death, and property damage, which shall cover this program and shall provide copy of certification of Insurance to Radford University no later than 10 days before the event/program.

PUBLIC SAFETY AND INDEMNITY: User agrees to conduct his/her activities upon the premises so as not to endanger any person lawfully thereon; and to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Radford University, its Trustees, Officers, Agents and employees from all demands, claims, suits, actions, or liabilities resulting from injuries or death to any persons or property damage or loss by Peters Hall, user, or any persons, howsoever caused, during the period in which this agreement covers the use of the area reserved during the agreement period.

DAMAGE: User shall be responsible for the payment of any and all damages to the area reserved, furnishings, fixtures, or equipment whether caused by user or his/her participants, normal wear and tear excluded. Damages to the premises shall be repaired at the expense of the user.

SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY: Radford University does not waive its sovereign immunity by entering into this agreement and retains all immunities and defenses provided by law.

ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS: The Peters Hall Management reserves the right to impose any additional rules or regulations, whether or not expressly provided herein, which may be necessary for the best interest of Peters Hall or Radford University, and all such regulations shall be binding upon the user. All users shall comply with the laws of the United States and the State of Virginia, and all rules and regulations of Radford University and its Board of Trustees. Violations by the user will result in cancellation of this agreement.

• Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are prohibited.
• All tobacco use is prohibited in the building and 25 feet from all entrances of the building.
• Signage/Fliers: Signs/fliers can NOT be attached to walls, doors, windows, ceilings, floors, furnishings, and other areas not designated for this purpose. Facility manager approval on all signage used for an event.
• Return the reserved room to its original setting upon completion of event.
• All trash must be picked up and put in the trash room C002 of Peters Hall.
• Pets are prohibited.
• Tables and chairs must be obtained through Facilities Management (831-7800). Please make arrangements to have tables, chairs, grills, etc. picked up immediately following event.
• Catering—please make arrangements to have catering picked up immediately following event.
• No admittance to the A-section of the building before, during or after event.
• No admittance to other areas of Peters Hall after building closes for program set-up.
• Each group is responsible for monitoring crowd (i.e., no alcoholic beverages, foul language, fighting, pets, etc.).
• If event is canceled because of inclement weather or any other reason, please contact a Peters Hall manager at 831-5297.
• Please strive to schedule all events during normal Peters Hall operational hours.
