Meet Thursday 6:30 PM Montgomery Country Club
(From E-Builder, Mar 2005) Christmas 2004 saw the Kiwanis Club of Olney celebrate its 21st year leading the Toys for Tots collection in Montgomery County. It was a banner year -- both in the number of toys collected and in the numbers of organizations and children served. In addition to distributing 3165 new toys, over 4000 toys were collected and will serve to get the program started again next year. Both our Key Club (Sherwood High School) and the Paint Branch Key Club helped with collection, box wrapping and donating money to purchase toys for older kids. Overall, it was a tremendously successful year for the Toys for Tots program and we thank the many supporters who helped make the Christmas season a happy one for so over 1000 needy children. It was, once again, an extremely rewarding experience.

$1,435 Spent, 25 Interclubs.
