Alumni Contacts

Welcome back alumni! We're glad you decided to visit this section of the website!

PURPOSE- The Geography Department strives toward constantly improving the programs and the quality of education provided to the students we serve. In the spirit of moving toward our goal of excellence, we feel that the input of current students as well as alumni is a very valuable asset when considering changes to the curriculum and course offerings. Because we believe that your opinions are valuable, we would like to invite alumni to fill out our questionnairre and return it to the department by sending your attachment here.

HOW WE WILL USE YOUR INFORMATION- We would like to maintain a directory of e-mail addresses for our alumni within the department so that we may contact you in the future if we need your input again, however if you do not wish to be contacted in the future, please notate that in your e-mail response so that your e-mail address will not be added to our compilation of contacts. Please note, providing your e-mail address will not instantly subscribe you to a list server for updates, automated contact etc. We will only use it for departmental purposes when faculty would like to contact you or ask for information. We also have no intentions of selling your contact information. Again, it will be for use in the Geography Department by the faculty and staff.

More specifically, we will strip out names, e-mail addresses and any other personal information from the final print out of the questionnaire submitted so that the results are kept confidential and unbiased.

Please feel free to send as much information about your current job and life after graduating as you are comfortable with. We love to hear success stories from our graduates! As a side note, if you would be interested in commenting either on the website or in our newsletter publication, please let us know that as well!

GOALS-It is our primary goal to impliment the input collected on questionnaire forms with our upcoming departmental program review in attempt to make the department more functional to our current and incoming students. This will include but is not limited to decisions that will effect course revisions and curriculum changes.
