COBE Co-Sponsors SBAA Workshop

RADFORD – More than 100 deans from business schools across the south will be in Roanoke July 13-15 to attend the 2008 Southern Business Administration Association (SBAA) Summer Workshop at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. The Radford University College of Business and Economics (COBE) will co-sponsor the event that includes representation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the premier accrediting agency for business schools.

The theme of the 2008 workshop is “Affecting Student Satisfaction Results.” Topics will include “Strategies to Enhance Student Satisfaction,” “Living Lives That Matter: Experiential Curriculum” and “Effective Student Advising Using Different Models.” 

SBAA is the regional association of collegiate business programs offered by colleges and universities in the southern U.S. Member colleges include RU, Wake Forest University, Virginia Tech, University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Winthrop University.  The association seeks to improve management education by providing networking opportunities for business educators, showcasing best practices, promoting innovations in teaching and scholarship, and encouraging leadership in educational programs management.
