Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is a Gothic church located in London.  Begun in 1045 and finished in 1400, it is used for coronations and as a burial ground for English monarchs.  It contains the graves of many influential people, including Geoffrey Chaucer, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, and Alfred Tennyson.  While visiting this site, you can view the English coronation chair; see beautiful stained glass windows, impressive tombs, and monuments to famous writers in Poets' Corner; and attend services and evensong.
