Copyright information
http://lib.runet.edu/copyright.html- This is the Radford University / McConnell Library information page concerning fair use and copyright information. Be aware, many copyright issues concerning multimedia materials are still unprecedented.
For the most part, "If you create it (take a picture) then you own it." However this is not always true in a university setting if you are creating media as part of your job responsibilities. You should have no problems creating media to teach classes here at RU, however, should you desire to use these media elsewhere (i.e. "for profit"), the Commonwealth of Virginia may own some rights to your work. Refer to the RU Faculty Handbook concerning Intellectual Rights.
Also, the Multi-Media Center at Radford University is an excellent source of information concerning copyright information and ownership issues.
