Powell Hall houses studios for drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, jewelry and metalsmithing, and video art. It also contains art education and art history classrooms, a computer lab, a slide room, departmental offices, and the Radford University Art Museum.

Studio spaces for sculpture and ceramics are located in the Art Annex, across the street from Powell Hall. The Bondurant Center for the Arts in downtown Radford has an active exhibition schedule and provides a space for art education activities, exhibitions, and graduate studio space.
