This year, for the first time in history, ROC TV and Campus Activities Board (CAB) are co-sponsoring Quad Fest.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on RU's Moffett
Quad.
The main stage will feature national recording artists from
Woodbridge, Va., Everything. Their song "Hooch" has been a hit single on MTV.
They feature a wide variety of alternative rock-n-roll in their list of tunes.
Also performing on the main stage is a very talented band from Richmond, Va. called Baaba Seth. Also, Big Sky, One Handed Molly, and the winner of the Battle of the Bands, Echo 3, will be performing live.
On the side stage, there will be three very talented
bands performing. From Richmond, Va., Schwill will be performing funky, jazzy, rock-
n-roll. In addition, a band from Longwood College called First Floor will be on the side stage. First Floor is touring this summer with the Pat McGee Band. Finally, a local band of RU students called Papa Funk will take the stage.
Attendance is expected to top 4,000 people at Quad Fest this year.
The festival will be covered and aired on ROC TV on the April 18 show.
Roc TV will also be hosting a variety of funny games with silly prizes.
These games include a sack-of-potato toss, 4 legged races, twister (with a twist) and bat races.
CAB will have activities including blow up novelties, human pin ball, and wax molding where people can make a mold of their hands.
People attending will enjoy live music and games and have a chance of being
