Commencement is filled with activities, events, and ceremonies to recognize the accomplishments of Radford University's graduates and to celebrate with their friends, families and others in the Radford University community. Procession & Commencement Ceremony Moffett Lawn
The main ceremony is for all undergraduates. True to Highlander tradition, Radford University Highlanders Pipes and Drums will lead the procession of candidates, faculty and platform party into the ceremony.

Seating for friends and families at the main ceremony is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The concert band will begin at 9:30 a.m. for your enjoyment. When the ceremony begins, in consideration of others, you are asked to remain seated. We also ask that you limit photography and remain behind the cords.

    The college ceremonies provide an opportunity for each graduate to be recognized individually, process across the stage, shake hands, and receive best wishes from the college dean and faculty. A professional photographer will also capture the moment. Proofs and order forms will be mailed to graduates. If you are unsure which college ceremony to attend, refer to the list of majors.
