Faculty and Staff Participation in Commencement

• Teaching and Research faculty members planning to participate in Commencement should respond to the “Spring Commencement Faculty RSVP” email.

Academic Regalia
Radford University Teaching and Research faculty members participating in the commencement processional are required to wear academic regalia, either from their alma mater or Radford University.

Faculty can rent regalia through the Bookstore or purchase custom regalia.

Arriving at the Commencement Site

• Graduate Hooding Ceremony
  • Friday, May 5 at Dedmon Center
  • Please arrive 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
    
  • Faculty that are participating in the Hooding Ceremony as Hooders should gather on the practice court with the students. Faculty participating in the processional should gather in the Advising Center.
• Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony
  • Saturday, May 6 at Moffett Lawn
  •  Faculty that are participating in the processional should gather on by the Heth Plaza Red Clocks. Please arrive 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
