Students enrolling in this course will learn about teaching anthropology by assisting a professor teaching a course in the anthropology curriculum.

The student will assist the professor with course preparation, instruction and/or supervised study hours.

Variable due to the diverse nature of anthropology course.

VII. Goals and Objectives of the Course:

Goal of the class: 

Students will be able to assist in teaching a fundamental topic in anthropology. 

Learning Objectives: 

  1. Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the duties associated with teaching. 
  2. Students will gain confidence in their peer-teaching skills.

VIII. Assessment Measures:

Variable by topic and instructor.  These may include an evaluation of their teaching, performance as a peer- instructor and participation in classroom tasks.
