Radford again named 'Best Bang for the Buck' university

For the fourth consecutive year, Radford University has been recognized as a "Best Bang for the Buck" institution by Washington Monthly Magazine in its annual College Guide and Rankings.

Radford ranked No. 54 out of 100 schools in the "Southeast" category of the magazine's rankings, which assess affordability, access and student outcomes. Of the 18 Virginia schools – private and public - that made the top 100, Radford ranked No. 10 on the list. Radford University is also one of 12 Virginia public institutions to make the list.

Washington Monthly's college rankings rate institutions based on three criteria: social mobility, research and service. Washington Monthly also rates colleges that are doing the best job of helping students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
