SGA organizes upcoming Safety Walk

The Student Government Association has planned a Safety Walk for Oct. 22.

The campus community is invited to join SGA members, university administrators and representatives from the City of Radford as they tour on- and off-campus locations to assess potential safety issues.

Similar walks in the past have addressed lighting and signage, such as street lights, crosswalks and stop signs. The SGA organizes the walks each semester to bring awareness to campus safety.

Participants are encouraged to dress in layers and should meet at the Brewin' Around coffee shop on Clement Street at 7:30 p.m.
