Three-point barrage helps Highlanders topple Big Ten foe

With a 86-74 win over Penn State Tuesday in University Park, Pennsylvania, Radford earned its first-ever win over a Big Ten opponent and posted its second road victory over a power conference team this season.

Senior guard Cameron Jones led five Radford players in double figures with 23 points, including five 3-pointers on seven attempts. Senior guard Ya Ya Anderson contributed 14 points, including four three pointers. Jones and Anderson led a torrid shooting performance by Radford who shot a season-high 56 percent from the field, including 62 percent in the second half.

The Highlanders (4-2) will return to action against in-state rival James Madison in Radford at the Dedmon Center on Monday at 7 p.m.
