Julia Castleberry, DPT, D.H.Sc., ’21 says the Radford University Carilion Doctor of Health Sciences program offers a self-paced curriculum and 100% online coursework, which helps professionals to work on their terminal degrees in harmony with the other demands in their lives. For her, that included working full-time, raising her sons, caring for a small farm and commuting long distances for work.

Radford University has been ranked as one of Money Magazine’s Best Colleges in America 2022, coming in at No. 296 out of the 2,400 colleges and universities evaluated nationwide. In addition, Radford was ranked No. 50 on the Best Colleges in the South listing by the publication.

Radford University Board of Visitors will consider tuition and mandatory fee rates for the 2022-2023 academic year at a special called Executive Committee meeting on June 13, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Mary Ann Jennings Hovis Memorial Board Room in Martin Hall.

Radford University's United States Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) commissioned 11 officers Friday, May 6, 2022, in a ceremony in the Hurlburt Student Center Auditorium.

U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith took time from his busy congressional schedule Thursday, April 21, to engage in a question-and-answer session with a small group of Radford University students in Hemphill Hall.

Nearly 100 nursing students received their pins May 6 as part of the Radford University School of Nursing graduation ceremony. They plan to work in fields as diverse as obstetrics and oncology, neuroscience and neonatal care, and in units that specialize in everything from trauma to labor and delivery.

Along her Radford journey, Kaitlyn Gorodnick took challenging courses, became heavily involved in campus organizations and activities and met faculty who inspired her to think differently about a career as an educator. “I want to be like them,” she said. “The professors at Radford are the professors I want to be like in my career.” 

Radford University Professor of Communication Matthew Turner has made a career out of studying the art of comedy.

Last month, alumni, faculty, and staff from the College of Education and Human Development, the Teaching Resources Center and the Office of University Advancement assembled approximately 240 bright red care packages for first-year CEHD students who are currently preparing for final exams.
