The Radford University Board of Visitors will hold a special meeting on January 25, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. to discuss faculty workload optimization.

Radford University students, faculty and staff celebrated the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 17, with a day of service throughout the Radford, Roanoke and New River Valley communities.

In November, Alan Forrest, Ed.D., a professor in the Department of Counselor Education, invited two local authors to his class on grief and bereavement. The writers, Colleen Redman and Katherine Chantal, read their work – pieces largely about loss – then asked the audience to share their own similar reflections.

Two Radford University student veterans will appear on an upcoming segment of “Military Makeover with Montel.” The episode airs on the Lifetime network at 7:30 a.m. EST on Friday, Jan. 13, and Thursday, Jan. 19.

Robert Hoover, Ed.D, will join the Radford University leadership team as vice president for finance and administration, effective March 1, 2023. 

Joey Crosby ’18 majored in geospatial science at Radford, serves the people of Connecticut as a constituent engagement coordinator and recently modeled for a Vineyard Vines catalog along with his partner, Chris, and their black lab, Georgia.
