As a senior in high school, Hannah Williams visited Radford University for the first time to participate in a softball clinic. Although there wasn’t much time to explore the campus, Williams made up her mind before leaving that she was going to come back for a visit – to take a tour and to learn more about the programs offered. When she visited during an Admissions Open House weekend, she knew immediately that Radford was the place for her.
“After that trip, and meeting such nice people here, I realized this is where I wanted to be,” Williams says.
Williams was impressed not only with the university’s beautiful campus setting, but also with the variety of courses offered and the co-curricular activities available. Her career goal is to become a high school English teacher and Radford University’s nationally renowned School of Teacher Education and Leadership is preparing her for that journey. Now nearly done with her first year, Williams is glad she came to Radford for that softball clinic in high school.
“Because of the softball clinic, I found my educational home, and I look forward to a great future at Radford University,” Williams says.
