Program Fees

How much will it cost?

The most cost effective way to study abroad is through an exchange program. Students can use financial aid, pay RU tuition and fees, and in some cases, pay RU room and board.

Faculty-led and affiliate programs tend to be a bit more expensive, but also offer added flexibility in their options.

All three types of study abroad offer different opportunities to experience international education.  For further information, please contact the Study Abroad Advisor in 104 Cook Hall or iec@radford.edu

Exchange & Affiliate Program Fees

Typically students enrolled in exchange programs pay RU tuition and fees (and in some cases RU room and board) and room and board at the exchange institution. Consequently, the cost of a semester or year abroad is comparable to studying at RU. Costs for affiliate programs vary.
