A native of Lynchburg, VA, I have lived (until 2005 when we bought a house on a lake in the NC mountains) and practiced in Charlotte, NC since graduation.  Following graduation, I worked for other firms for 14 years, had my own practice with a partner for 8 years, then merged in 1994 with Clark Nexsen, a multi-discipline firm with over 500 people in 6 offices in VA and NC.  I have two daughters, one in graduate school at Penn and another finishing an undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina.  My wife teaches elementary school in Marion, NC, and we are currently completing the renovation and expansion of our house on the lake.
