About
Jane has been studying and teaching about human biology and the environment since the first Earth Day in the 1970's. She and her husband / physics instructor Ken Cundiff worked in science research at University of Florida and taught in seven different countries around the world. Jane recently published a book "Cobras, Kids And Pyramids: Adventures of a Teaching Couple in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt" available on Amazon and at the RU bookstore. Jane runs a "Wild Edibles Organic Garden Club" in Floyd, grows a large organic garden and stays active in preserving the local environment.

ABOUT
Liz is also an Associate Professor for Wytheville Community College with a background in Neurobiology and Anatomy. She has published research on grass spiders, Agelenopsis aperta catalepsis. Currently she focuses on writing about autism and has one book published, Autism and the World According to Matt . Liz has a second book that will be out in 2019 on communication in non-verbal autistic children. She recently participated in the Virginia Master Teacher Seminar held at Hampden-Sydney College.

ABOUT
Amy is a herpetologist who has worked with endangered amphibians and reptiles. She enjoys teaching students about the wonders of biology, ecology, and the environment. Her research interests include the ecology of lizards, snakes, and turtles in southwestern Virginia.

Kat is a wildlife biologist and ecologist with experience studying terrestrial mammals in a variety of ecosystems. Her research interests include urban ecology, predator-prey interactions, and spatial ecology. Outside of teaching and research, she enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her pet tortoise.
