I joined the University Relations team in the fall of 2003, and I’m really excited about the role I play. I have access to the best of both worlds -- writing and design. I manage the publications schedule in creative services, and I cover several programs on campus as a writer and member of the public relations staff. I come to work each day knowing that I get to do what I love. It’s a role I’m going to enjoy!

In my spare time, I’m quite fond of gardening, shopping for arts & crafts (and just shopping in general), home decorating and spending time with my family. My husband John and I have two sons, Jonathan and Chase. We’re very active in our community and youth sports --soccer and basketball -- and spend many evenings and weekends on the field or in the gym. We love to travel, but decided a long time ago that the New River Valley is the best place for us to enjoy life.
