My goal is to promote the excellent educational opportunities, public service offerings and professional expertise of the university community to alumni, friends, students, parents, employees and neighbors of RU.

My job offers me the opportunity to interact with a wide range of individuals with an even wider range of expertise. It’s such a joy to learn about the latest research in obesity or watch our outstanding professors bring science to life for their students and visiting youngsters from area schools. Do you know that RU’s Museum of the Earth Sciences houses an extinct Ice Age bear’s skeleton? We have banana trees growing in our greenhouse and a unique planetarium that offers astronomical exploration opportunities for the young and old alike.

When I’m not in the office diligently writing stories about the wonders of RU and chatting with faculty on my beat, I’m racing down Brush and Gap mountains on my mountain bike or taking a hike in the woods with my children.
