Set in August 1947, All My Sons is the story of a father whose family is looking toward the future, but threatened by the past. (See video interview with Conrad John Schuck.)

RU theatre and cinema professor and director of the play Jennifer Juul says this is the first time Schuck will play the challenging role of Joe Keller.  “John is perfect for the role, and I’m so glad the stars aligned and he was available.  He’s a very hardworking actor,” Juul says.

Having performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on London’s West End, and around the United States, Schuck’s most famous stage role was Daddy Warbucks in the Broadway hit Annie.  In addition to a busy theatre and film career, Schuck has appeared on numerous television programs including Law and Order: SVU, Star Trek: Voyager, and as Sergeant Enright on McMillan and Wife.

Student actors in All My Sons are Jesse Leahy of Chantilly, Amy Surratt of Hillsville, Maddie Molly of Gloucester, Carlos Velazquez of Woodbridge, Andy Nester of Richmond, John Klenk of Ashburn, Melissa Christensen of Rixeyville and Chelsea Burke of Strongsville, Ohio. Eight-year old Timothy Reuwer of Radford is cast in the role of Bert.
