RADFORD – Internationally acclaimed jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval will be in concert Monday, Oct. 8, 8 p.m., in Radford University’s Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall. The concert is part of the University Performance Series.

Sandoval is among the leading Latin jazz performers and is known for his versatility and talents in all jazz idioms. He has performed with such musical greats as Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Tony Bennett and Patti LaBelle. A winner of numerous awards including a Grammy, Emmy and Billboard award, his life story was portrayed in the HBO movie For Love or Country.
