"Astronomy: The Universe and Beyond" to be Subject of Presentation at Wilderness Conservancy
RADFORD - Radford University Chemistry and Physics instructors Brett Taylor and Jack Brockway will speak during the Elderhostel program Astronomy: The Universe and Beyond, at the Wilderness Conservancy at Mountain Lake on Sunday, Oct. 7 – Friday, Oct. 12. Taylor will present Black Holes, Neutron Stars and Gravitional Waves on Monday, Oct. 8 from 1:30 – 4 p.m. Brockway will discuss Birth, Life and Death of Stars on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 9 – 11:30 p.m. RU professors frequently offer their expertise for community programs across the New River Valley.
