RADFORD – Radford University’s November music calendar includes back-to-back concerts on November 8 and 9. The University Jazz Ensemble will perform in concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall.  The Chamber Winds concert is 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, in the Norwood Room of the Bondurant Center for the Arts, 1129 East Main St., Radford.

The jazz concert features the music of Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Buddy Rich, Count Basie, Rob McConnell and other artists. A variety of jazz styles including swing, bebop, cool and fusion are part of the program.

Ensembles and soloists will perform a diversity of woodwind and brass compositions at the Chamber Winds concert.
