RADFORD -- The RU men’s rugby club is scheduled to host Catholic University at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dedmon Center in a qualifier match for the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union championship tournament.

The winner of Saturday’s match moves on to play either Georgetown University or Albright (Penn.) College on March 29-30 in the MARFU tournament at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville.

The Highlanders roll into the tournament fresh off an impressive win last weekend over Bowling Green. RU is ranked 9th in the nation in Division II by erugbynews.com.

Admission is free to the match.
