RADFORD - Radford University hosts comedian Charlie Murphy on Wednesday, March 26, at 8 p.m. in Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall. Ticket costs are $15 in advance with RU ID, $20 for general public and $20 on the day of show. The show is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board and Black Awareness Programming.

Murphy is known for his appearance in the Emmy nominated Chappelle's Show on Comedy Central. The show saw an increase in ratings when "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories - Rick James and Prince" skits aired. Murphy has been working in entertainment for more than 17 years with actors such as Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Eddie Murphy, Danny Aello, Vanessa Williams and Samuel Jackson. He has been featured in films including New Line Cinema's Kings Ransom and Spike Lee's Jungle Fever.

With featured stories in GQ, Complex Magazine, Essence and Rolling Stone magazine, Murphy was listed as one of the "Hottest People to Watch" on Entertainment Weekly's "The Must List."
