RADFORD -- Radford University President Penelope W. Kyle has been elected as the Big South Conference’s secretary of the league, the conference announced Monday. Kyle is beginning her first year as a member of the Big South’s Executive Committee.

Elections were made late last week at the Big South’s annual spring meetings in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

The Big South also announced Monday that Winthrop University President Anthony DiGiorgio was elected conference president, and Virginia Military Institute Superintendent General J.H. Binford Peay III has been elected Vice-President.
