RADFORD -- It’s a Matter of Black and White: RATED R – Joe Said (2002), a work by Radford University art professor Richard Bay, is on display in Squires Student Center, College Avenue, Blacksburg.

The piece is the artist’s memories of a true story dating back to 1968 and examines the events surrounding the first black family to move into Bay's neighborhood on Long Island.

Bay says, “I hope people will take time to read, think, feel, and explore their own experiences when viewing and reading this work.”  

 The piece and two others by Bay will be displayed through July 12. Bay will have a one-man show at the Perspective Gallery in Squires June 6 - July 12. To learn more, e-mail rjbay@radford.edu
