Radford Reaffirms Graphic Identity Standards
RADFORD -- As Radford University moves toward a comprehensive branding campaign in the coming months, it is important for the university's colleges and departments to utilize a common graphic identity system.
Prior to beginning the university-wide research and work that will inform and establish a long-term branding effort, the office of University Relations reaffirms the university's graphic identity structure to simplify and clarify the Radford University graphic identity for use by the campus. This is simply a reaffirmation of RU's graphic standard with minor accommodations for new applications.
The graphic identity includes logos that represent both the university and the university's athletic program. The graphic identity system also provides examples of format, color and usage for items such as business cards, letterhead and brochures. Most usages of graphics and logos on printed materials are addressed in the system and can also be utilized in many electronic applications. The graphic identity is, however, far from comprehensive. Specific questions regarding items or applications not found in the guidelines should be discussed with the office of University Relations to ensure compliance with RU's graphic standards.
These standards should be applied only when reordering and creating new materials. Existing materials should be completely used before reordering any new materials.
