RADFORD – The Silver-Garburg Piano Duo will be in concert Thursday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m., in Radford University’s Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall. The concert is part of the University Performance Series.

Founded in 1997, the duo blends the artistry of Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg. The two have performed globally in venues that include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Berlin Philharmonic, Finlandia Hall, Beijing National Radio, Rome’s New Auditorium, Teato Colon, Palacio Nacional de Bellas Artes and more.

Silver and Garburg are teachers in Germany. They have won numerous international competitions and released recordings which continue to receive worldwide acclaim.

Admission is $5 general public, $2.50 children and free with RU I.D. Tickets go on sale at Hurlburt Hall two weeks prior to the performance and can be purchased by calling (540) 831-5420.
