RADFORD – Chinese calligraphy demonstrations by guest artist Xin Zhang of Shangi Normal University will be offered to the public February 11 - 15, at Radford University. The event is part of RU’s Chinese New Year Festival.

The workshop schedule is:

• Monday, Feb. 11 – Cook Hall 107
12 - 1 p.m., 2 - 3 p.m., and 5 - 6:45 p.m.

• Tuesday, Feb. 12 – Bondurant Center for the Arts, 1129 East Main St.
1 - 5 p.m.

• Wednesday, Feb. 13 – Cook Hall 107
12 - 1 p.m., 2 - 3 p.m., and 5 - 6:45 p.m.

• Thursday, Feb. 14 – Bondurant Center for the Arts
1 - 5 p.m.

• Friday, Feb. 15 – Cook Hall 107
12 - 1 p.m. and 2 - 3 p.m.

Supplies to create personal works will be available at a cost of $2 during each session.

The event is sponsored by the Club Programming Committee, RU Art Guild, the Chinese Club and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
