RADFORD – Radford University information technology professor Arthur Carter has been appointed Chair of the Department of Information Technology in the College of Science and Technology. He has also been appointed to serve on the Leadership Team.

“I look forward to working with the College of Science and Technology. There is already a great working team in place and I hope to only continue what has already been put in place by my predecessor Maung Htay.” says Carter.

Carter began his career at Radford University in 2003 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Technology. Since that time, he has been a valued member of the RU family and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position. College of Science and Technology interim dean Joe Chase said, “Dr. Carter brings significant academic and administrative experience to this role. We are excited and look forward to working with him in his new position.”
