RU Performance Series Presents St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre

RADFORD – The St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre will present Carmen on Thursday, April 10, at 8 p.m., in Bondurant Auditorium, Preston Hall. The show is part of Radford University’s Performing Arts Series.

Choreographed by Yuri Petukhov with music by George Bizet, the ballet follows the story of a captivating and dangerously charming gypsy.

The St. Petersburg Ballet, founded in 1966, is considered one of the most distinguished classical companies in Russia. It has toured more than 50 countries and has performed in the Mariinsky and Hermitage theatres.

Admission is $15 for general public and children $7.50. Tickets are on sale at the Hurlburt Student Center and can be purchased by calling (540) 831-5420.
