Message from the Radford Fund Chair

Dear Alumni,

I am proud to be the Chair of the Radford Fund and represent Radford University’s largest constituency, our alumni.  You already know the value of your Radford University education is priceless, but the qualities that make it so – outstanding programs, top-flight faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and competitive scholarship – are costly. 

As alumni, we play an integral role in preserving the RU tradition we knew and loved, and in supporting the people and programs that carry on that tradition today. The Radford Fund supports our university’s commitment to recruit and retain qualified and talented professors and helps to provide tools which ultimately add to the classroom experience.

Strong alumni participation in the Radford Fund each year is a valuable measure of RU pride. The percentage of alumni who make annual gifts is also a factor in college rankings by such national ranking agencies as U.S. News and World Report and Kaplan/Newsweek.  Placing well in these rankings greatly enhances the value and prestige of a Radford University degree.
