The Radford Society is completing its inaugural year and celebrating the most generous contributors whose giving ensures the continued success of the university and its students. The society represents loyal alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends who make annual gifts to RU of $1,000 or more in an ongoing drive to sustain and enhance the outstanding academic, leadership and service-learning experiences available to RU students.
Membership in this dynamic group is a powerful testament of a donor’s commitment to help RU students achieve their ultimate goals, but it also conveys benefits beyond the profound sense of satisfaction that comes from helping others.
Recognition as a Radford Society member earns a donor:
- Inclusion in the annual Honor Roll of Donors
- Invitations to exclusive events, including the Radford Society dinner, an elegant evening of celebration hosted by President Penelope W. Kyle and the Radford University Foundation;
- Priority seating for special campus events;
- VIP invitations to campus celebrations;
- Networking opportunities with deans, faculty, staff, and students;
- A brick in the Walk of Fame (for donors of unrestricted gifts of $1,000 - $4,999);
- A brick of honor in the Hurlburt Student Center walkway (for donors of unrestricted gifts of $5,000 or more).

- *Junior Charter membership is extended to seniors and alumni who have graduated within the last five years and donate $100 - $499 annually. Alumni who have graduated within the past six to 10 years may join with a donation of $500 - $999 annually.
Supporters may also earn Radford Society membership through their employer’s matching gift programs, which could possibly double or triple their contribution. To determine if a company has a matching gift policy, contact the employer’s human resources office or visit RU’s Matching Gifts webpage.
Society members who have cumulatively given more than $100,000 may merit inclusion in the President’s Circle, an elite group of leaders within the philanthropy community.
