As a Sophomore (2003-04) - Captured a victory in the hammer throw at the Big South Outdoor Championships...Setting a school record of 180'03.00" in the event...Placed 3rd in the hammer throw at the Virginia Tech Invitational...Placed first in the weight throw (15.76m) at the Father Diamond Open...Finished second throwing the discus 139'11 to earn ninth place at the Charlotte 49ers Classic...Took sixth place in the weight throw with a distance of 49'11.75" at the Big South Indoor Championships...Competed at the NCAA East Regional at the University of Florida where he tossed the hammer 168-07.

High School - First team all four years of high school in discus...Second time District and Region champ in the discus...Holds the school record in the holder in disc at 168'06".
