Richotte Fifth in Weight Throw at the USA Track and Field Championships BOSTON, MASS.- Sophomore Brian Richotte (Berkley, Mich.) placed fifth out of eight throwers at the USATF Championships Friday morning at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College. Richotte threw a distance of 64-07.25 in the event. His best throw this season came at the Virginia Tech Challenge with a provisional NCAA qualifying distance of 65-07.40. The USA Indoor Track & Field Championships is the world's oldest indoor track championship, with the first meet being held in 1888 in New York. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held March 11-12 in Fayetteville, AR. |
