Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Highlanders wrap up day two at the UNC Invitational at the Eddie Smith Field House. The Highs pick up five top-ten finishes.

In the men's 3,000 meter run freshman Joel Hanlon (Winchester, Va.) finished 10th clocking a time of 8:49.88, while teammate Mike Meehan (Orange, Va.) finished 20th in the event.

Sophomore thrower Tiffany Evans (Dumfries, Va.) placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 45'07.75".

Three of the five top-ten spots came by way of relay events. The men's 4x400 meter relay placed eighth with a time of 3:26.98, while the distance medley relay crossed the line to place sixth with a time of 10:37.90.

The women's 4x400 meter relay finished second behind the Tarheels and clocked a time of 3:59.68.

The Higlanders will travel to Lexington, Va. on Feb. 4-5 to compete in the Keydet Invitational.
