Richotte Advances to NCAA Hammer Throw Finals

RADFORD, Va. -- Radford sophomore Brian Richotte sophomore thrower Brian Richotte (Berkley, Mich.) has advanced to the finals of the hammer throw competition at the NCAA Championships. The finals begin on Friday at 5 pm EST.

Richotte's throw of 63.30m (207-08) set a new Radford University and Big South Conference record. He placed 10th out of 12 finalists who advanced past the preliminary round. There were 26 total athletes entered in the competition.

He reached the NCAA Championships by placing fourth with a throw of 205-01 in the NCAA East Regionals.
