CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Radford's Maria Geary was selected as Choice Hotels Runner of the Week, announced today by the Big South Conference.

Geary has placed in the top-ten twice during the cross country season. At the Virginia Tech Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 9, she ran an 18:38.40 on the 4650-meter course to grab sixth while leading the Highlanders to a third place finish overall. The Highlanders best finish of the year.

The Highlanders will travel to Rock Hill, S.C. to run in the Winthrop Fall Classic Saturday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m.
