BLACKBURG, Va. - Radford's women's tennis lost to Elon, 4-3, at the Burrleson-Burrows Tennis Center at Virginia Tech Sunday.

Junior Caroline Downs (Radford, Va.), freshman Ashton Downs (Radford, Va.) and Cassandra Price (Deland, Fla.) all earned singles victories for the Highlanders. The No. 3 team of Frannie Shirar and Daniela Milano (Sao Paulo, Brazil) won 8-5 for RU's only double victory.

Radford falls to 0-3 on the young season and will face UNC Wilmington in an indoor match on Saturday in Raleigh, N.C. The match was the first of the spring season for Elon (1-0). The Phoenix will host East Carolina on Wednesday.
