Women's Soccer Heads to Big South Tournament as No. 3 Seed to Face Charleston Southern in First Round RADFORD, Va. --Radford's women's soccer team heads to the Big South Tournament as the No. 3 seed after finishing 5-1-2 in the Big South and 10-6-2 overall in the 2004 regular season. The Highlanders will face No. 6 seed Charleston Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4 at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, S.C. Radford is led offensively by the one-two punch up top of junior Jonita Hooker (Woodbridge, Va.) and senior Nikki Porter (Maryville, Tenn.), who have combined for 21 of RU's 41 goals and 11 assists this season. Hooker has recorded a team best 11 goals to go along with five assists, while Porter has a team high six assists with 10 goals. Each forward has four game-winners. In goal for Radford is sophomore Tara Oleartchick (Woodbridge, Va.), who has posted a 9-5-2 record with a 1.36 GAA and 58 saves. Overall the defense has six shutouts during the year and allowed just nine goals in eight Big South matches. If the Highlanders defeat Charleston Southern, Radford would advance to the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 pm against the winner of the match between No.2 Birmingham-Southern and No.7 Coastal Carolina. The Championship match is set for 7 pm on Saturday
