UNC Asheville Defeats Radford

ASHEVILL, N.C. --Radford volleyball fell to UNC Asheville 3-0 on Thursday night at the Justice Center in a Big South Conference match.

Divona Cox led the Highlanders with eight kills and a .318 attack percentage. She also tallied four blocks of which two were solo.

Kate McHugh had 15 digs while Cox and Josie Hanners had 10 digs each. Hanners provided the Highlanders with 21 assists and Tiffany Guthrie had seven kills.

Asheville (19-15, 8-5 Big South) hit over .300 in games one and three finishing with a .254 team attack percentage. The Bulldogs had 11 service aces, four coming from Krysti Havens.

Radford will wrap up the regular season on Saturday as they host arch-rival Liberty at 2:00 p.m. Asheville will travel to Birmingham-Southern for a 2:00 p.m. match on Saturday.

Radford (3-23, 0-13 Big South) will be the number eight seed in next week's tournament and will be on the road at Winthrop next Tuesday night.
